Judge Dredd Comic Pages, from 2000AD.
Hi, it’s Wednesday, if you weren’t aware. So it’s time for WIPWednesday, everyone’s favourite social media hashtag.
So I’ve been updating my portfolio, cos I wants to be hired to draw comics, for money, and societal rewards like respect, dignity and feeding my family with food. All that good stuff.
So I’ve decided to do a 2000AD, Judge Dredd six page comic. A few years back I did a couple of pages for a Twitter contest, and it led nowhere, because of course it did. But I liked the pages, and the story, so I’d figured I’d expand them. And I also want to see if I can do backgrounds in the style of Derek Domnic Dsouza. Not sure if I’m cribbing his style 💯, but I’m having fun with it.
I’m happy with how these pages are turning out. I think it might be some of my best work. Which is good, if I’m trying to use these pages for work. Hopefully 2000AD will love me too, fingers, fingers, fingers.
